Traveling thrift store, which spreads awareness on orphans, to visit KU April 1

A traveling thrift store that spreads awareness and provides resources to orphans will visit Kansas University on April 1.

The Red Bus Project is a student-run program in which a double-decker bus acts as a mobile thrift store and tours campuses all over the country. Customers can shop for clothes and are encouraged to make donations of their own, which go toward awareness efforts and orphan care.

The Red Bus Project was created in 2012 by Show Hope, a Tennessee-based ministry founded in 2003. KU is one of 25 universities the bus will visit this spring.
