• Daphne Fautin, of Lawrence, was recently honored as a 2014 inductee into the International Forest of Friendship in Atchison. The Forest is a memorial to the world history of aviation and aerospace. Fautin is a professor at Kansas University.

• The University National Bank announced one promotion and two recent hires. Brandon Lamendola has been promoted to assistant vice president of lending. Joylynn Harlow will act as vice president of mortgage lending. Jordan Sedlacek will be an assistant vice president of lending and marketing. All three are members of the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce.

• Trinity In-Home Care introduced Scott Criqui as its new assistant director, effective July 1. Criqui is a graduate of KU and previously acted as Trinity’s human resources manager.

• Applications for the 2015 Leadership Lawrence class, which focuses on leadership training, are now available. The class includes daylong programs once a month. Tuition is $1,350 and limited scholarships are available to those who apply. Applications are due by Aug. 6 and can be downloaded at www.lawrencechamber.com/programs/leadership-lawrence. The due date for Gavin Smith Scholarship applications is July 24.

• Wells Fargo Advisors has named Dave Mattern, of Lawrence, as a member of the firm’s Premier Advisors Program for the seventh consecutive year. The distinction recognizes Mattern’s meeting or exceeding high standards of revenue generation, education attainment and client-service best practices.
