Both lanes of Alabama Street, north of 23rd Street, will be closed from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. today. The closure is for pavement restoration due to the construction activities on the 23rd Street water line replacement project. Road closure signs and traffic diversion will be in place to direct motorists, according to a city news release.
