Baldwin City — The Baldwin High School boys basketball team edged Augusta on Saturday to win its home invitational for the second year in a row.

Four Bulldogs scored in double figures, with Chad Berg scoring a game-high 18 points. Cornell Brown, Luke Fursman and Quinn Twombly chipped in 14, 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Eudora’s Andrew and Mitchell Ballock scored 22 and 17, respectively, while De Soto’s Dalton and Quinton Verhulst had 19 apiece.

Drew Boatwright added 14 points, and Clayton Holmberg scored nine for Mill Valley (7-4).

Koch and Holmberg were named to the all-tournament team, and Koch was named MVP.
