Derby — The Veritas Christian boys basketball team had no answers for cooling down the hot-shooting Derby Invasion Friday.

Ten different players scored for the Invasion with three of them reaching double figures in the rout.

The Eagles also had three players score in double figures with Chad Stieben putting in 12 and Drake Napier and Miles Dressler netting 10 apiece.

The loss dropped Veritas Christian’s record to 4-6. The Eagles will have a quick turnaround as they will take on the Wichita Sunrise today as they continue league play.

Derby — Hanna Gloss scored 11 points and Tori Huslig added 10 to lead Veritas Christian’s girls past Derby Invasion on Friday.

Macie Dressler had 12 rebounds for Veritas.

Veritas (5-4) will play Wichita Sunrise Christian today.
