What to do with family on the holiday? Take them to the Home for the Holidays tour at the Spencer Museum of Art. Spencer Director Saralyn Reece Hardy will lead tours at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. Sunday at the Spencer Museum of Art, 1301 Mississippi St.

Post-Christmas showers

There will be some considerable cloudiness today with showers in the afternoon. The high temperature will be about 47 degrees, and the low will be about 32. On Saturday, things will cool down; the high will be about 34. Sunday will be mainly sunny and warmer, with a high of 40.

Final Friday of the year

Celebrate the arts with the last Final Friday of 2014 in downtown Lawrence! There will be a few businesses displaying art, and the Lawrence Art Party Chautauqua event is set at the Lawrence Creates Makerspace. The family-friendly evening will feature music, poetry and great art! The chautauqua, which is a tradition of education, is in the Warehouse Arts District at Ninth and New Jersey streets from 5 to 9 p.m.

Music in your bones

Get out of the house and let some music soothe your harried holiday soul. The Love Bones play from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., Saturday at Five Bar and Tables, 947 Massachusetts St.
