Stealth football: Lawrence Stealth of the Midwest Football League is looking for players 18 and older who want to compete on 2015 stealth roster. If you are interested please email us your height, weight, position, college and high school at lawrencestealth@gmail.com we are looking for 45 dedicated football players to play for the new minor league football team. Indoor facility: Team Performance, an indoor facility for baseball, softball sports vision and speed-and-agility training, is starting to fill sports for winter and spring-training baseball/softball teams. The 12,000-plus-square-foot facility features four pitching lanes, six hitting cages, fielding space, room for personal training, pitching machines and more, for teams and individuals. It is located at 1811 West 31st. Discounts available for rentals of five- and 10-plus weeks. Facility is open 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Sundays, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays and 4-9 p.m. Monday-Friday and by appointment. Davis honored: Central Oklahoma sophomore Katy Davis, a Free State High product, has been named to the All-MIAA volleyball first team. Davis took over the starting setter job and finished with 1,361 assists, an 11.53 per-set average that ranks third in the MIAA. She averaged 41.2 assists a match and had seven matches with 50-plus assists. She hadd 259 digs, 45 kills and 35 blocks.

Tanner wins again: Brady Tanner, a Special Olympian power lifter from Lawrence, set a world record in the deadlift in Las Vegas at the WABDL Worlds last weekend. Tanner won his 12th championship since 2000, lifting 545 pounds to take the deadlift title, and won the Outstanding Lifter Award. He also won in the bench press, lifting 415 pounds. He will compete for the NSSA Kansas state title in Salina next weekend.

Indoor bicycle workouts: Ten-week program developed for cyclists from experts to beginners. Drills are based on your personal heart-rate zones, and perceived exertion, so they appear to be just right for your ability. A workout typically lasts one hour and consists of a series of progressively more intense cycling drills designed to improve your pedaling effiency, leg strength and endurance.
