The National Weather Service in Topeka issued a Freezing Rain Advisory from 8:22 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday.

The weather service expected temperatures to remain near freezing until 11 a.m., with a light glaze of ice possible on elevated surfaces and slick spots on other roads.
