Kansas University’s next homecoming weekend may be spooky.

The Homecoming football game against the University of Oklahoma is set for Oct. 31, 2015 — which is Halloween — with the full week of homecoming festivities planned Oct. 25 through Oct. 31, the KU Alumni Association announced Friday.

The Alumni Association and a student-led steering committee will coordinate the week of activities, which will include competitions for student organizations, community service activities, various reunions and the Homecoming parade and pep rally. Winners of the Excellence in Community, Education and Leadership (ExCEL) Awards will be announced at halftime of the game.
