Roots of conflict
Ecumenical Campus Ministries is having its free University Community Forum, “The Arab-Israeli Conflict: Historical Roots of Today’s Crisis.” It will begin with a presentation by Marie Grace Brown, KU assistant professor of history. The forum is from noon to 1 p.m. and usually includes a brief Q&A session before concluding. The ECM Center is at 1204 Oread Ave.
Hip hop at Granada
Atmosphere invades the Granada tonight with their Minneapolis-brand of hip hop, with special guests Prof and Dem Atlas. Atmosphere rapper Slug and DJ/producer Ant are on the duo’s North of Hell tour. The doors open at 7 p.m., and the all-ages show starts at 8 p.m. TIckets are $27 the day of the show. The Granada is at 1020 Massachusetts St.
