Kansas baseball routs WSU, 10-3

? Jon Hander pitched five two-hit innings and picked up the win as Kansas University’s baseball team beat in-state rivals Wichita State, 10-3, on Tuesday at Eck Stadium.

Hander (2-1) gave up one run, which was unearned, to help the Jayhawks improve to 27-20.

Kansas had a 4-0 lead after the first inning against Wichita State (22-22). Dakota Smith and Blair Beck each had two-RBI doubles in that surge. Colby Wright finished 4-for-4, including two doubles.

The Jayhawks will host Texas Tech for a three-game series starting Friday.
