GOP’s 2012 vice presidential candidate Ryan to raise funds for Brownback

The gubernatorial election is more than a year away, but the race for campaign dollars has begun in earnest.

The Republican Party’s 2012 vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan will headline two high-dollar events Wednesday for Gov. Sam Brownback’s re-election campaign and the Kansas Republican Party.

One will be held at The Petroleum Club in Wichita and the other at a private residence in Mission Hills.

Each of the events will feature, $15,000, $10,000, $5,000 and $2,000 levels of support.

For $15,000, the donor gains admittance with 3 guests to a VIP reception and executive roundtable with Ryan and Brownback.

Ryan, a U.S. House member from Wisconsin, worked as an aide to Brownback when Brownback was a U.S. senator.
