Tecumseh ? Cale Bertrand scored a goal five minutes into the first half, and Lawrence High made it stand up for a 1-0 high school soccer victory Thursday night against Shawnee Heights.

Jake Burdett assisted on the score, and goalkeeper Andrew Ornburn recorded the shutout.

“Our defense played really well,” LHS coach Mike Murphy said.

Ornburn made a diving save on a shot by Shawnee Heights with about 10 minutes remaining.

The Lions (7-8-1) will play Tuesday in regionals.
