The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Lawrence program will honor 38 individuals at the Valor Awards Recognition luncheon on Oct. 15.

The Valor Award program was created to recognize those who act to protect residents of Lawrence and Douglas County. Retired FBI agent Michael Kirkpatrick will deliver the keynote address at the luncheon, which begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Adams Alumni Center.

The event is open to the public, though $25 is required to attend. Reservations must be received by Friday, Oct. 11 and can be done online at the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce’s website or by calling 785-865-4411.
