Overland Park ? Lawrence High’s volleyball team split a pair of matches Thursday at Shawnee Mission North.

The Lions defeated SM North, 25-20, 25-17, and lost to Leavenworth, 18-25, 22-25.

For LHS, Marlee Bird had 17 assists, 10 digs, Kyleigh Severa had 12 assists, Jess Lemus had 21 digs, Sami Buffalomeat had nine digs, Caroline Dykes had nine kills, and Caitlin Broadwell had 11 kills.

The Lions (7-12) will play Saturday in the Joan Wells tournament at LHS.
