Ten Thousand Villages sets up fundraiser for three local charities
Ten Thousand Villages in Lawrence will help raise funds for three local nonprofits on three specific days between Nov. 14 and Dec. 8.
The fundraising involves donated 15 percent of net sales from a three-hour period on a given day to a specific charity. Sales on Nov. 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. will go to Health Care Access. Sales on Nov. 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. will go the Lawrence Community Shelter, and sales on Dec. 8 from 2 to 5 p.m. will go to Independence, Inc.
