Dillion Thompson scored 20 points, and Grant Proctor added 18 points to lead Haskell Indian Nations University to its first men’s basketball victory of the season, 88-84, over William Woods on Tuesday night at Coffin Complex.

Wilber Everett and Blake Pittman added 11 points apiece for HINU (1-3).

Everett pulled down eight rebounds for Haskell. The Indians trailed 42-41 at halftime but outscored William Woods 47-42 in the second half.

Haskell will host Ottawa on Friday.
