Mission Hills ? Chase Hanna of Leawood defeated Sam Stevens, 5 and 3, in the 36-hole final match of the Kansas Amateur on Sunday at Indian Hills Country Club.

Hanna, who will be a freshman on Kansas University’s golf team this fall, turned 19 on Sunday and used a batch of early birdies to take control of the match before closing it out on the 33rd hole against Stevens, a 17-year-old headed to Oklahoma State.
