Athletes competing in the 24th annual Sunflower State Games must register before two upcoming deadlines.

The Sunflower State Games aim to provide top-quality amateur competition for Kansans, regardless of age or skill levels. Events will be held July 12- 28 in Topeka.

Participants interested in the 5K or 10K road race, adventure race, target archery, baseball, BMX, bocce ball, disc golf, horseshoes, indoor soccer, judo, martial arts, swimming, tennis, track & field, trap & skeet shooting or volleyball must register by Friday.

Those competing in badminton, basketball, bowling, competitive trail ride, cricket, cross country, cycling, darts, fishing derby, golf, handball, jiu jitsu, junior rodeo, miniature golf, mountain biking, orienteering pickleball, racquetball, rowing, sailing, sand volleyball, shooting, soccer, softball, ultimate or wrestling must register by July 15.
