Fayetteville, Ark. ? Kansas University senior Andrea Geubelle broke her own school record, again, on her way to the triple-jump title on Saturday at the Tyson Invitational.

Geuebelle, who set a KU record in the long jump a week earlier, hit 13.96 meters on her second triple-jump attempt of the afternoon. The mark stands as No. 2 in the NCAA this season and the ninth farthest indoor triple jump in NCAA history.

The Jayhawk men’s and women’s 4×400 relay teams also found success on Saturday in Fayetteville. The men’s team of Michael Stigler, Mike Hester, Kyle Clemons and Kenneth McCuin won the college-division relay in 3:09.98, while the women’s team of Diamond Dixon, Denesha Morris, Taylor Washingon and Rhavean King finished seventh (3:40.97) against high-caliber competition in the invitational section.

At the Husky Classic on Saturday in Seattle, Josh Munsch led a group of KU distance runners with a fifth-place, 4:03.18 finish in the mile.

Members of the Kansas men’s track team also competed Saturday in Ames, Iowa. Dominique Manley headlined the action there, running a season-best time of 1:12.98 in the 600 to place 10th in the seeded section.

The KU men and women will return to Ames in two weeks for the Big 12 Indoor Championships, which begin Feb. 22.
