Kansas City, Kan. — Tonganoxie turned a 14-point deficit into a late two-point lead Friday at Piper, but the Pirates hit a layup at the buzzer for a two-point win.

Jack Dale led the Chieftains (7-9) tying a career-high with 25 points.

Sabetha 46, Santa Fe Trail 30

Sabetha — Sabetha built a three-point halftime lead to 34-21 after three quarters.

Nemaha Valley 71, Perry-Lecompton 44

Seneca — Austin Johanning scored 15 points for Perry-Lecompton.

The Kaws will play Tuesday at Hiawatha.

McLouth 68, Jackson Heights 65

McLouth — McLouth (9-7) beat Jackson Heights by three.


Santa Fe Trail 54, Sabetha 42

Sabetha — Holly Ullery led Santa Fe Trail with 15 points.
