• Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP announces the addition of Marty Bregman, Lawrence, as a new partner in its energy and environmental division in Kansas City. Previously, he was executive director of law at Westar Energy Inc., the largest electric public utility in the state of Kansas.

• Hillside Village of De Soto announces the addition of two new staff members and a new therapy company. Pam Hall, the new Hillside Village administrator, has more than 15 years of experience as an administrator. She attended Kansas University and completed her degree at Washburn University in 1996. Peg Wessel, the new director of nursing, has been in the long-term care industry for over 20 years. She has served as the director of the skilled nursing and acute rehabilitation unit at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and, most recently, was director of nursing at Brandon Woods at Alvamar.

• Local antique tractor enthusiasts from around the Lawrence area have organized an antique tractor show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday in the Orscheln Farm and Home parking lot at 1541 E. 23rd St. The display will include tractors from the early 1900s. Moose’s Backyard BBQ will serve food, and the Lawrence Free State FFA Chapter has scheduled a bake sale during the show. Orscheln Farm & Home will have several in-store drawings during the event. Orscheln Farm and Home is a family owned company that has been in business more than 50 years.
