Seabury football falls to St. Mary’s

? Seabury Academy fell to St. Mary’s junior varsity, 64-20, in high school football Monday.

Seabury quarterback Joe Simpson passed for 218 yards and three touchdowns on 18 attempts. Charlie Arnold caught two touchdowns of 45 and 20 yards and had three catches for 94 yards. Fischer Almanza scored the third Seabury touchdown on a 12-yard reception.

Seabury (3-2) plays its final game at home on Oct. 17 against the Kansas State School for the Deaf.

“Tonight was a good test to see where we’re at and what we need to work on for next year and the years to come,” coach Aaron Combs said. “We didn’t execute like we were supposed to, and this is what happens.”
