Former Kansas forward Thomas Robinson was selected fifth overall in the NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings.

Later, former KU guard Tyshawn Taylor was selected by the Portland Trailblazers with the 41st pick. Portland then traded Taylor to the Brooklyn Nets.

Robinson averaged 17.7 points and 11.9 rebounds for the Jayhawks last season, while Taylor averaged 16.6 points and 4.8 assists.
