Treanor Architects is scheduled to officially break ground Tuesday on its new downtown Lawrence office space.

When construction is completed, more than 50 employees will work at the location, combining the architecture firm’s two other Lawrence offices under one roof. A ground-breaking ceremony is set for 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at 1040 Vt., the former home of Strong’s Office Supply.

Treanor Architects has 75 employees in five locations: Lawrence, Kansas City, Topeka, St. Louis and Dallas.
