Happy Halloween! If you are struggling for a last minute costume idea — and I do mean very, very last minute — look no further. Simply look to your favorite style icon from the past. Emulate their personal style and create a fabulous, classic costume. Best of all? Most of these outfits can easily be assembled straight from your closet, no purchase necessary. Check out some of my favorite style-icon costumes below:

1. Audrey Hepburn, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”

Audrey Hepburn is renowned for her simple, classic style. Due in part to the Little Black Dress, designed for Hepburn by Givenchy, women all over the world hold her personal style in high esteem. For a Hepburn-esque costume, one that truly could still be worn to work or to dinner in the present day, assemble the following outfit:

• your favorite LBD
• long black evening gloves
• tear drop earrings
• pearl strand necklace
• crown (optional)

2. Jackie O

Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis’ personal style changed over time, from her days in the White House through the years after. Regardless of which Jackie look you choose, be sure to keep it colorful and clean.

First Lady Jackie:

• A-line dress
• pillbox hat
• kitten heels
• tailored, collarless tweed jacket

Gypsy Jackie:

• wide-leg pants
• round, oversized glasses
• long, oversized jacket
• colorful silk scarf

3. Debbie Harry/Blondie

Debbie Harry was at the forefront of the punk movement, making her personal style a very fun look to attempt for Halloween. Along with bubbly, pink lipstick, color-streaked hair and vibrant eye shadow, pick out a few of these clothing items to create a Debbie Harry Halloween costume:

• leotard
• studded belt
• one-shouldered top
• tube top

4. Diane Keaton, “Annie Hall”

Diane Keaton’s dress code in Woody Allen’s film “Annie Hall” is often cited as a style influence. And, in fact, the clothes Keaton wore in this film were her own. For an Annie Hall-like costume, pick out a few of these items from your closet (preferably in a muted or neutral color palate):
