Black women in nursing topic of KU lecture

The Hall Center for the Humanities will host the 2011 Bill Tuttle American Studies lecture on the role of black women in nursing before the 1950s on Wednesday.

Darlene Clark Hine, a professor of history at Northwestern University, will give the lecture “Rehearsal for Freedom: Black Professional Women’s Health Care Activism before Brown” at 4:30 p.m. in Woodruff Auditorium at the Kansas Union.
