Safe Winter Walkways program seeking volunteers to help clear others’ sidewalks
Volunteers are needed for the Safe Winter Walkways program.
“This program is an excellent resource for members of our community who physically can’t keep their sidewalks clear during snow events,” said Megan Gilliland, communications manager for the city.

The deadline to sign up for assistance with is Jan. 1.
Douglas County Senior Services will pair volunteers with people who need help clearing their walks.
