KU swimming holds intrasquad meet

Kansas University swimming and diving team competed in its annual Crimson and Blue intrasquad meet Friday at Robinson Natatorium in Lawrence. The Blue squad defeated the Crimson squad 144-123.

Kansas coach Clark Campbell said the exhibition meet served as an opportunity for the Jayhawks to shake off the rust after spending most of the fall working out of water.

Some Kansas swimming and diving alumni were also on hand for the meet and were invited to compete in events in the pool.

Kansas will now prepare for its first meet of the season, a road meet against the Arizona Wildcats Saturday, Oct. 6 in Tuscon.
