Advanced Chiropractic Services food drive collects items for LINK
Advanced Chiropractic Services is collecting nonperishable food items through noon Nov. 19 at its office, 1605 Wakarusa Drive.
The business has had a food drive for the Lawrence Interdenominational Nutrition Kitchen, or LINK, at First Christian Church since 1989. Last year, it delivered 6,044 pounds of food. This year’s goal is 6,500 pounds.
LINK serves free meals four times a week and provides a community dinner at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
