Former U.S. Air Force staff sergeant Thomas D. Clodfelter received the Air Force Commendation Medal in June for meritorious service from April 2007 to April 2008, while serving as an electrical and environmental systems craftsman with the 8th Fighter Wing, Kunsan Air Force Base, Republic of Korea. Clodfelter is a 1992 graduate of Lawrence High School and the son of Micheal and Rena Clodfelter, Lawrence.
