The U.S. National Weather Service forecast for calls for a chance of thunderstorms across northeast Kansas late Friday night into Saturday morning.

Severe storms will be possible, with large hail and strong winds being the primary threats.

The NWS has placed parts of Kansas, including Douglas County, under a slight risk for severe weather.
