McPherson ? A McPherson man is charged with premeditated murder in the shooting death of a man whose body was found over the weekend at Marion Reservoir.

Twenty-four-year-old Dustin Smith was charged Tuesday in the death of 30-year-old Justin Milne. His body was found Monday at a secluded campsite near the reservoir in west-central Kansas.

Milne’s vehicle was found burning at a different area of the lake and Smith was found nearby.

Authorities said they did not expect to charge anyone else in the death.
