Grape stomp set to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Douglas County
Money raised from stepping on grapes will benefit a local agency.
The BlueJacket Crossing Winery will host its second grape stomp Aug. 27 to help raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Douglas County. Information will be available regarding the winemaking process and wine tastings will be offered.
The event is planned from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the winery, 1969 N. 1250 Road in Eudora. The winery suggests a donation of $5 per person. For more information, visit bluejacketwinery.com.
