Islamabad ? Pakistani security officials are alleging that a NATO helicopter attack has killed three Pakistani troops close to the Afghan border.

A NATO official in Afghanistan says the attack occurred Thursday in the border area around the Upper Orakzai region.

He declined to provide further details.

Officials from both nations declined to give their names because of the sensitivity of the alleged incident.
