Antique auto club to hold car show
The Lawrence Region Antique Automobile Club of America is sponsoring the 38th annual Antique Car Show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
To qualify for awards — which will be judged by the public — cars must be at least 30 years old. Registration begins at 9 a.m.
The event is free and open to the public, though donations will be accepted. “For sale” signs are prohibited at the event. For more information, call 843-2222 or e-mail lawrenceaaca@aol.com.
