Army Sgt. 1st Class Charles M. Bailey has arrived for duty in Lansing, Mich.

The sergeant first class is a reserve recruiter assigned to the U.S. Army Great Lakes Recruiting Battalion and has served in the military for 17 years.

He is the son of Peter Bailey, Linwood, and Viola Bailey, Kansas City, Kan.
