Kansas GOP plans 19-city bus tour for candidates
The Kansas Republican Party is planning a 19-city bus tour this week to promote its statewide and congressional candidates.
The tour begins with a rally at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Kansas City, Kan. and ends with a rally at 6 p.m. Saturday in Salina.
The other events Wednesday are in Johnson County and Lawrence.
Most of Thursday’s events are in southeast Kansas, though they start with an 8 a.m. breakfast at the Topeka campaign headquarters of gubernatorial nominee Sam Brownback.
Friday’s events are in south-central Kansas, including two stops in Wichita. The tour’s last events Saturday are in western Kansas.
