The Palmyra 4-H club installed new officers at its Nov. 3 meeting at the Baldwin City Intermediate Center. The club meets on the first Wednesday of every month except December and August.

Senior officers are: Ethan Horne, president; Olivia Beins, vice president; Gunther Wehrman, secretary; Michaela Krysztof, treasurer; Colton Horne, council representative (2009-2011); and Katie Pattrick, council representative (2010-2012).

Junior officers are: Emma Stewart, president; Ethan Temple, vice president; Jenna Flory, secretary; and Graham Ogden, treasurer.

Other offices are: Emily Linder, reporter; Garrett Lang, parliamentarian; and Alaina Flory, historian.

On Nov. 13, the club rang bells for The Salvation Army at Hy-Vee, 3504 W. Clinton Parkway, Lawrence.

The club will sing carols at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1 for the residents at Vintage Park, Baldwin City, with the December meeting to follow. On Dec. 4, they will ring bells from noon to 8 p.m. at Wal Mart, 3300 Iowa. The annual 4-H bowling party will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 28 at Royal Crest Lanes, 933 Iowa. All 4-H’ers may bowl for free with a donation of non-perishable food item, new or handmade hats, scarves, mittens, gloves or blankets. To register, call 843-7058, by Dec. 22. Cost is $7 for non 4-H’ers.
