Pig roast Saturday benefits United Way of Baldwin City
The United Way of Baldwin City will host a pig roast Saturday.
The event will run from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Lumberyard Art Center, with funds raised benefiting the United Way campaign. Donations will be collected at the door to cover the cost of admission.
In addition to the dinner, the event will also feature a prize drawing for those in attendance. Tickets for prizes can be obtained at Baldwin State Bank or at the event for a suggested donation of $1.
Several area school children will be recognized at the event for their participation in the LIVE UNITED poster contest. Each child’s artwork will be on display during the event. The Baldwin City division of the United Way has set a fundraising goal of $22,000.
