Annual stop day tour at Kansas University set for Friday

Ted Johnson, a Kansas University professor emeritus of French and Italian, will once again lead a Stop Day walking tour of campus on Friday.

The tour will begin at 9 a.m. in front of the Natural History Museum, 1345 Jayhawk Blvd., and will conclude about 6 p.m. Participants may join or leave the tour at any time.

The group meets at 1 p.m. for lunch and conversation at the Crimson Cafe in Burge Union.

In case of inclement weather, the tour will begin in the portico of Lippincott Hall at 9 a.m., stop for lunch in the Kansas Union at noon and then meet in the foyer of the Spencer Museum of Art at 1 p.m. Should the inclement weather clear, the tour will resume at the appropriate time and place.
