• Dan Cary of Ameriprise Financial has qualified in the company’s 2009 Circle of Success program for the eighth consecutive year. • Drs. Charles and Claudia Kincaid and their son, Ivan, attended the American Association for Dental Research’s annual meeting March 3-7 at the Washington D.C. Convention Center. Dr. Charles Kincaid gave a presentation and also chaired a dental research session.

• Lawrence native Terry Rood, previous facilities director at The Eldridge and The Eldridge Extended, will now also manage facilities at The Oread.

Rood will be responsible for all the laundry and housekeeping throughout the hotel.

• Neuvant House of Lawrence, a new Alzheimer’s and memory care facility under construction in Lawrence, has hired Julie Joslin for the administrator position. Joslin has 18 years experience in health care as a registered nurse, including at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Presbyterian Manor and Kansas University Medical Center.

• Green & Finch Chartered announces the addition of Daniel D. Covington, of Lawrence, to the firm, as well as its name change to Green, Finch & Covington Chartered. Covington joins the firm as partner and will continue to practice in areas of banking law, estate and business planning, real estate and litigation.

• Capitol Federal announces Barent Raye as the new manager of the bank’s West Lawrence office, 1025 Iowa. In addition to managing the West Lawrence office, Raye also oversees the bank’s in-store locations within Dillons, 4701 W. Sixth St., and Super Target, 3201 Iowa.
