Skate park to close Monday for repairs
Repair work temporarily will close the city’s Centennial Park Skate Park for an unknown period of time.
City crews on Monday will close the facility at 600 Rockledge Road to repair cracks that have developed throughout the park. Parks and Recreation officials do not have an estimate of when the repairs will be completed, in part, because they are dependent upon warmer and drier weather.
The skate park was developed in 1998.
