Lenexa police search for man missing since Thurs.
Lenexa ? Lenexa police have been searching for a 58-year-old man who was last seen Thursday.
Lawrence Schnackenberg Jr.
Police said Lawrence Schnackenberg Jr. was last seen by family members at noon. His car was found later Thursday in Shawnee Mission Park. Authorities searched the park Thursday and Friday, but found nothing.
On Saturday, Schnackenberg’s son issued an emotional statement, thanking members of the public for their help. A vigil is planned for Sunday evening at an area church.
Police said Sunday the case is still being treated as that of a missing person. Schnackenberg is white, 225 pounds and 6 feet 1 inch tall.
