It’s never too soon to start thinking about the fruits of sunshine and warmer temperatures.

Eric Youngquist, manager of the Perry Lecompton Farmers’ Market, is having a meeting for anyone interested in the market. The meeting will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, in the cafeteria at Perry Elementary School.

The agenda includes dates and hours of market, market locations, rules and bylaws, vendor recruitment and committee positions.
