In the wake of Sunday’s 61-60 loss at New Mexico State, Kansas University’s women slipped from No. 21 to the 24th slot in the Associated Press weekly basketball poll.

With TCU making its first appearance this week in the AP poll at No. 25, New Mexico State is the lone unranked team to knock off the Jayhawks (10-3). KU’s other defeat was to No. 16-ranked Xavier. The TCU and Xavier losses were at the Junkanoo Jam in the Bahamas.
