The regular meeting of the Douglas County 4-H Horse Project was Jan. 19 at the fairgrounds. The Spring Horse Clinic will be March 26-27 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. A swap meet will be associated with the clinic this year. Tables for the swap meet can be rented for $10. The club also discussed any changes to be made to the Aug. 21 KSHSC show bill. The club is planning a trip today to the “hat doctor.” The next business meeting will be at 7 p.m. March 16 at the fairgrounds.

The Lone Star 4-H Club met Feb. 8. Since it was Parents Night, the parents ran the meeting. Brooke Hoobler and Taylor Sanders were initiated into the club. County Club Days took place Feb. 20. The club donated $200 to the Joe Shultz memorial. Rowan Plinsky gave a demonstration on how to make sugar cookies.
