Ray-Pec boys basketball downs Seabury

The Seabury Academy boys basketball team, which plays in the smallest class in Kansas, held the lead with about a minute and a half to go against Ray-Pec, which plays in the largest class in Missouri, but couldn’t hang on. The Seahawks fell, 53-49, Tuesday in the Ray-Pec Tournament.

Reed Grabill led Seabury (1-1) will 17 points. Khadre Lane scored 13. Josh McDermott added six points and seven rebounds.

Seabury plays again Thursday in the tournament.
