81-year-old abducted, forced to get cash
Shawnee ? Authorities in northeastern Kansas are looking for the woman who pulled a knife on an 81-year-old woman and forced her to withdraw money from a bank.
The victim told police in the Johnson County town of Shawnee the woman approached her Wednesday afternoon in a supermarket parking lot and started chatting. The victim said the younger woman then pulled a knife and ordered her to drive to a bank and get cash from an ATM.
KMBC-TV reports the robber then forced the elderly woman to drive her to another bank. The victim went inside and asked a teller for help.
The robber drove off in the victim’s blue, 1999 Buick LeSabre. The victim was not injured.
