University Bridge Club announces results of its April 3 meeting, with hosts Mary Gaumer and Julie Zajic.

Blue winners were Roz Zimmerer, first; Joan VanNice, second; Steven Bogler, third; Dottie Miller, fourth; and Doug Baur, fifth.

Pink winners were Karen Zimmerer, first; Alice Akin, second; Cathy Stephens, third; Carol Smith, fourth; and Lois Liebert, fifth.

Kaw Valley Quilters’ Guild Quilt Show “From Grandmother’s Treadle to iQuilt” will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 24-25 in Building 21 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2110 Harper. Admission is $5.

Over the Rainbow Doll Club met April 8 at the home of Suzanne McGinn. Members began making plans for two upcoming events: the Club Doll Birthday party in June and the open meeting in September. Suzanne and Kelsey McGinn presented an informative lesson on American Girl dolls. Several members brought American Girl dolls for the display and program. Gail Brewster and her granddaughters, Mikhenna and Mikhaila Brown, provided the door prize and items for the “hat auction.” The club will travel to Olathe next month for a surprise lesson at the Brown’s.
